DP vs. Check

Hey; what's generally faster? Direct Deposit or receiving a check?

 

direct deposit. but it's nice to get a check in the mail also.

 

How much faster?

 

Like its instant. Check takes the time to get to your house and then you need to cash it

 

Direct Deposit is very fast when compared to normal cheque..

Of course the electronic payment is faster.

And you don't get to spend another month for the bank to approve the check. And that's AFTER you wait 4-5 days (DHL + 25 USD) or 2 weeks for normal postal service.

How so?

 

By taking a photo of you holding up your Google Check like Shoemoney does on his blog. It happens to be the most viewed photo on his blog.

 

its obvious that Deposits are faster. 2-4 days. Check takes near 4 days by the time you receive and then you have a clearing time of 2-3 days.

 

Never received Direct Deposit, disable in my option..
But it's take too long to receive cash from check, I guess my bank bring the check physically to Ireland

Something wrong with that word? Basically I wanted to say that I think my bank send the check again to Ireland and ask wheter the check is valid or not

i received my check today, in brazil

 

A few months ago, it took almost two weeks to get my check. I switched to direct deposit and now get it on time every month and don't have to worry about my checks getting lost in the mail.
