That’s exactly what I thought…. I expected to see something like Windows 70%, Mac 18% and Linux 12%. This really surprised me

That's probably fairly accurate for home users though the majority of traffic probably comes from work environments, small to medium offices, where it's often Windows being used (like in our office).

I use Camino. It is the fastest most stable browser I have found to date.

I use FireFox during the day when working. Couldn't live without the Webdeveloper Toolbar and a few other FF tricks.

At home, where I just browse online, not doing development and such, I much prefer the no-nonsense approach of Camino. It loads in 2 seconds, compared with over 10 for FF and Opera, is indeed stable as nothing else out there, looks like the rest of OS X and something hard to explain, the 'feel' of it just works well.

I only switch back to FF at home when I have to do online banking, Camino isn;t supported though FF (same Gecko engine  ) is.

I guess it really depends on what you consider "better". For me it is faster, and more stable. FF tends to slow down over time for me. I am a tab whore, so the more tabs I have open, the more FF tends to blow.

The pros are speed, and stability. The cons are the lack of plugins. For me the trade off is worth it.

By the way, it's Mac only. But because it's free, you'll have some spare change for a new Mac to go with it :D

What version of Opera? I just timed v9 beta 2 and it starts up in 2 seconds too (on Windows). Unless you need a specific plugin it's miles ahead of Firefox in terms of "un-clunkiness" and having the things you need for browsing and none of the cruft you don't. And it's still a much smaller, leaner program than the Mozilla bloatware

*fanning self* Ooooh, better stop the Opera fanboyism now :)

The Opera versions that shipped with Mac OS X last December. Not sure exactly which one. Left it bare though, nothing added.

One thing I did notice starting last night is that for some reason with Camino, the "advanced" buttons, like "link" , "image", the smileys, etc., no longer work. I've tried restarting the browser, restarting the computer and nothing has fixed this glitch. I am not sure what the issue is.
