Not sure this is the right place but some wierd things have happened the last few days that you need to know about. This is not a complaint. It is just FYI.

Because of the sheer number of posts I usually visit twice a day. At least once each day for the last 4 days IE6 has crashed. This usually occurs when I am attempting to mark all forums read from the quick links menu.

That happened again today but something else also happened. I posted this response in this thread
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=66895
then went to mark all read. IE crashed. I came back and did a search by user, me, to make sure my response posted. It did but search does not show it.

Just wanted you to be aware of the problem.

Anyone else seeing this? This forum is pretty vanilla, so if there's something weird, it's probably an issue with vBulletin itself.

Well at the risk of getting laughed at again it is win 98se until after the taxes are finished and I can afford to be down a day or two for a new HD and OS. They are both in the closet waiting.

It actually hasn't happened again. I have encountered random problems since I installed Office Pro and it updated a few files. Makes me think I am running 99.5se. I usually come here after visiting another VB site. I have started closing and opening a new browser.

I did let IE file the error report each time.

    Thanks for the replies.
