Hi I was just wondering if having links on my signature makes any difference on my sites. In terms of PR etc. I do get some visiotrs whic is great. But I am worried that the SE might consioder this as spam! not sure about this so some comments will be really appreciated!!!
LOL! Signature links will help your site ! Do look at the "Link Sales" section, many people are selling links even for $100/mo ! Why? Because the signature links worth your money!
yeah agree on that...links on DP will help you boost your site's PR...and you'll get traffic as what you've said...DP sig will add up as your backlinks...Other page on DP already had PR and it'll be passed to your site as long as you've posted on that page...
Search engines will not consider that as a spam , you can relax dp signature links will boost your page rank and hits
yes i have seen people selling hteir signature!! OK now I am reklaxed! To be honest when I check on siteexplorer i have seen that backlinks have increased since i joined DP!! which by the way i think is great place and I am staring to be addicted!!!
Well, Signature links help in two ways. You do get a lot of direct referrals to the site and also gives your site a nice boost on the search engines.
My problem is that I get so involved in projects that I forget about forums. By the time I get back to them I learn so many new things that I end up being a lurker. Do any of you actually set a schedule for keeping up with forums, so you know what's going on and create backlinks for yourself daily.
I don't set a schedule, I post on about six forums. I don't post in all six of them everyday, except for dp, but I do post fairly regularly. I just enjoy forum posting in general so to me it is not like work at all. Plus, it is a nice way for me to learn and help others when I can, plus pick up some nice backlinks in the process.
I am on this forum constantly. Well, in actuality using Firefox's tabbed browser let's me peak in all of the time. When I need a few minutes break, I jump on, read something, make a posting, and then keep going. Before you know, you'll rack up the posts and be a "known quantity" on these forums.
