DP Signature can get you ranked at GOOGLE

I asked all my friends at DP , to put my site link in their Signature .

The result , i am now ranking pretty well at Yahoo .

I guess DP sig's count as backlinks and can get you indexed pretty fast since the Big G's spiders always lurk around DP.

Well yeah i know about it.If you put link to your sites in your signature in big forums like DP where Bots visit very much then surely you can have good ranking.

If you have webmaster related sites the signature links brings direct traffic as well.

 

These sig links count, but be careful - with the latest Google update, they are given less credit. Keep in mind that most forum signature links tend to be "spammy" in nature.

 

yes any huge forum which dont have Nofallow will help you.As dp is webmaster forum any site revelant will get more adv.

ya main thing is more posts u have then it hase more effect on serps so try to get sig links with huge number of quality posts not those spammers sig links

That is why you should sell your signature to the highest bidder.

 

I believe your sig will be looked at on a time scale. The more recent posts (the posts since the last PR update) will show google that people are talking about your site, or at least it'll appear that way to an extent. The quality of posts is secondary, as you should notice that most of the back links come from threads, so aim for quality threads... quality posts will bring in better traffic though from the forum (DP) you are posting on.

Keeping the same links in your sig will show that long standing posts/threads that previously pointed to your site, still do. This is a bonus for longevity, in a way. If you keep rotating your sig links, you'll find that they will have a lower overall impact.
