I have found it to very successful and I was getting 10-25 hits a day from DP sig.

 

Worths putting signature in here and it will get clicks

And maybe make some money if u have a high post rank

 

Also there is a comparative lull in the sig market here at DP. You can sigs on the cheap and they prove to be real value for money.

 

I wouldnt really say signatures are cheap. Its kind of more expensive then it worths. For example 5 dollars a month which is 60 dollar a year. For 60 dollars you can submit your site to a premium pr 7 directory.

 

You get what you pay for?

For $60 you can get 500 (and counting) PR0 links, potential traffic from those links, as well as product recognition within your niche.

OR

For $60 you can get 1 PR7 link that'll likely not give any of the above, but may trickle down some PR.


Personally I've clicked several signature links, but I've only been to one directory looking for links, and that was DMOZ, and only because I was an editor. How many directories have you been too looking for sites?

Now, I'm not saying one is better then the other, but each has it's perks.

 

Sigs links are definitely beneficial. I get more traffic from my sig than from any directory I've ever submitted too.

 

yes , it worth , but only links and null site wont result good traffic , it need good contents and attractive things to get again visits.

 

forum advertising is great, free, targeted traffic is something that should never be overlooked

Very effective if you offer something of interest to webmasters and it is free.

 

Sig links help increasing your site visitors and backlinks. You can use as much as you can.

When you are allowed to do so, start a thread down in the Link Sales forum with your profile stats & board name (feel free to NOT link to your boards, but that can limit sales).

If they are not webmaster forums though, expect a bit less then what you'd get here.

I sold a sig with 6k posts for $20 a month, but then, I was not expecting much.

After experimenting a lot with my signature I THINK this one I have (please check my sig) will make people click on my links. What do you think of my signatures guys ? You can give your honest thoughts, I can learn from constructive criticism.

Now try it for a few months as an experiment.

Keep careful track of how much time you put in it, and how much $ you get back in return.

I would definitely have to agree, taking advantage of a signature in any forum is a definite must!

 

I think a blog or forum targeting new marketers can do very well via sig here at DP. While there are a lot of vets here, I see hundreds of posts from new folks struggling for answers.

Either way, it can't hurt. If you bring in a few hundred extra visitors a year because of your signature, your site will grow exponentially.
