I think DP should open a new sub forum in the buy sell trade forum...

This new forum would be strictly for stumble, digg, etc exchanges... with all of them in the freebie forum everything besides stumble/digg stuff gets covered up really fast lol...

    What do you think?

I agree! I think there are enough stumble/digg posts to support a new subforum.

Yeah, the freebies section sucks, every thread is digg exchange, or "ill rep for a stumble"

I dunno TBPH. That would lead to even more of that, and it would look like DP gives people its blessing for promoting crap.

Yeah I can't tell whats free and whats not anymore.

There used to be a day where free food was never taken down as an offer, now you can't get free food without stumbling someone.

True, but the freebies aren't freebies anymore. If people would read the stickies they would find out what they are doing isn't recommended.

"Free stuff posted here should be free 100 % free and nothing else

Do not ask people to do something for you in return"

The digg incentives are now growing too - solve it before its gets out of control?

I actually like the idea of being able to post some stories and then have others decide whether they want to digg it or not. Then they can post their own and whoever likes the story, diggs it.

Problem is that here that kind of system no longer works. Spammers have taken over. Now it's all about you do for me, what I do for you.
If it was different, it would be possible for writers of good articles to actually connect, network and help each others succeed. But right now, it's too late for that.
The good stories will drown underneath of the masses who spend more time promoting than actually creating.

I don't know to tell you the truth, but wasn't it banned on Digg for asking users to do "digg for digg"? I thought they were enforcing that a long time ago.

well for all of those that think it doesnt matter the reason i think it matters is the following reasons even though i use the stumble threads lol...

IT matters because when I want to give away free scripts etc then my threads disappear really fast lol so they arent getting any attention..

Im not sure what the answer is but I am sure that things like diggs and stumbles are not appropriate for the freebies section.

I admit that when I see someone offering diggs and stumbles I sometimes suggest some sites for them to consider, but I agree that there are way too many such threads cluttering up the freebies section.
