Guys & gals, currently DP allows the DP members to share revenue using google adsense. But what about those people who dont have an Adsense account??? what do u say? should DP allow us to add our chitika ads and turn into an chitika revenue sharing site??

    1. We don't do rev share any more (been about a year and a half since we did).

    2. Chitika is terrible.

It depends on your site, but generally AdSense seems to be 200-300 times more revenue for the same ads space.

You would have to talk to Shawn. From my perspective and from what I have read, the amount of revenue generated per member was miniscule. DP has a large member base with which to share revenue.

I think I agree with you. Its not possible to share large amount to revenue with thousands of members. Where Shawn is getting lots of earnings :)

Had more to do with people posting pointless threads, thinking they were going to get rich by doing so.

But people keep on posting pointless threads for sig spamming or sometimes for nothing at all. :)
I also did chitika revenue sharing for several months and it was VERY low, now I've removed them altogether from my site.
Perhaps they have improved their CPC following the end of yahoo publisher network (yahoo recommended to its publishers and advertizers to go to chitika) I haven't tested yet, but I'll wait another several months before putting their script on my site again, I don't like the fact that they pay only for US & Canada traffic, perhaps when they'll go international I'll think again about them.
