Feedback DP Server locks me out?

It seems now most of the time I get timed out from the server. My ISP is fine. Other website load fine. After I load a thread or send PM I have to wait 10mins until I can access DP again. I think I keep getting banned from serve for some reason.

Can you do a trace route to the servers from your location by chance? Someone else reported an issue this morning, but they were also overseas from the servers.

Hmmm... it looks relatively normal. I'll keep an eye on it. Let me know if you see it again.

A few people have reported it, but I've not seen anything on this end. And the only people that have reported it are across the Atlantic Ocean from us, so I suspect if something is happening, it might be some sort of routing issue between Europe and the US. Kind of hard to pin down exactly if we can't get it to do it.

Can you do a trace route to the servers from your location when it happens?

I found a temp fix - anyone that is having problems try iphider.org, you shouldn't have any problems

The only way I can access this forum (and stay on it) is though iphider.org or similar sites.

I think there must be a setting in vbulletin admin panel that is blocking uk ip addresses, this never happened even once before upgrade. Im sure it must have something to do with the vb4 upgrade.

There's nothing on this end that is blocking IP addresses any differently than we were 3 months ago.

Okay, I am really a noob, but I had a similar problem before I joined DP with just a few sites. If this doesn't apply, just ignore it. But just in case...my problem was Google Chrome. Once I uninstalled it, all was well.

I'm in Ireland and I had similar problems before. The problem was resolving the DNS of forums.digitalpoint.com and I have no idea why. Just happened now and then.
I started using Googles Public DNS Service and the Problem was gone.

Simply configure your network settings to use the IP addresses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as your DNS servers
