    Hello DP members

I found this thread and I have to give thumps up to certain dp members who caught on to the fake displays used right away.

I believe that this is a must read to remind us that we have got to be diligent when considering spending our hard earned money.

This is the link to the thread with the offer for sale and sharp dp members that were able to effectively prove their case.

Here is the link were the member admits that the screenshot they supplied were indeed faked.

There are many wolves in sheeps clothing and if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

Keep up the good work guys.

This is just an example to what we are up against when someone wants to seperate us from our money and not really giving anything in return.

Yeah I was one of the victims. I bought the ebook for $50 as there were some good reviews. I know several others did too so he made around $600.

His thread was purely to "experiment" he said - to test the buying habits of DP members.

I was given a full refund though. He has nice red rep I noticed.

Over 5 100+ itrade members posted his method is real and works. he used fake screen shots but so what. There really isn't one person who sells a product on this forum with there screen shots belonging to them.

you wouldn't have these kinds of problems if you didn't scam people. just do honest business and things will work out fine.

You need to lay off the drink.

I don't know what you're looking at, the guy has 5 itrade feebacks (all under 100) and only one after the date the seller started his thread.

Go buy the report from him, I'm sure you'll make his day.

I loved this part, Taz Dude, when you told them this
"...I told you from the beginning I will be on your butt until you come clean and tell us you are a FAKE...well you did that...."

It was like a bulldog with his teeth dug in and not willing to let go. You didnt let go, Taz Dude, until they admitted that those screenshots were faked and they futhermore admitted that they never tried the methods in the ebook.

I don't have the words to discribe my distaste for such an underhanded scheme. And not to mention the $17 GetJimmy spent out of his own pocket on ppc in order to give a review of it. I think that money should be given back to him for testing it.

I don't see how scams like this can continue for so long without the community taking it down.. Glad to see it has been taken care of now though.

A lot of memebers don't read what other says and always ask.
    "PM me details."
Then they get scammed for nothing. Avoid scam by being more alert.

Scammers feed on those who are not fully alert - so the best advice, as someone already mentioned above, is to be on your guard at all times. This will reduce your chances of being scammed.

Always read anything thoroughly, and check out reviews and comments made. Another idea is to google the item/service, to see if it has been flagged anywhere else as a scam.

The first post itself was enough to prove him as a scammer. The screenshots were outrageous, with millions of mistakes.

However, IMO, it was better to just post once in that thread, and let people know the truth. Such scammers are not worth your time. On a side-note, I had a good laugh when I read his "experiment" post! How foolish can someone be? :|

Thats a very good point WebmasterTL.

I would have thought that it should have been enough to ban this person. Is there a reason why they haven't been banned? I mean they admitted that all the screenshots were faked and they also admitted that they never used the ebook as if it wasn't serious.

That is one awesome thread. I also don't see why this member was not banned. A person makes claims that turn out to be lies. I thought that members should be better protected when someone is caught in the act.
