DP revenue sharing

Lately I notice from my adsense chanel, I saw some click came for DP. Does any one of you guys earn real money from DP revenue sharing?

 

Nope, its purely entertaining. With impressions its a little more but still nothing that adds up.

I would post the amounts but I don't want to violate the TOS

I just donated my DP revenues to Dominic. He runs a charity for homeless people etc so I thought the few pennies I did earn from DP might as well go to him. I can click on ads I see on DP in safety as well.

 

That's a great idea; please share the adsense code, I'll change mine to Dominics as well. every penny can help

 

I think you better PM Dominic directly to get it as it will be up to him. With so many bans going around I would be hesitant to just post someones AdSense code

Maybe DP should have select-box before entering your own adsense code:
-select one of the charities DP members support-
or something.

I can miss the couple of cents DP/Adsense makes, but if all members would use a charity-adsense block, it could add up to a serious amount of $$

 

Shawn might be up for that.

It would allow those members who dont use adsense to help out the charities as well.

As long as you had a system where you could assure that 100% of the money is going to the Charity I would be all for it.

I am thinking as good of an idea it is in principle, it would be a nightmare for Shawn to determine the validity of each person.

Do any direct charities have AdSense on their sites?

A limit of 1000 posts before you can request a Charity Adsense thingy..

Except 1000 posts really doesn't say anything about your honesty. Shawn would ultimately be responsible for making sure it goes to Charity and I doubt he would take that on.
Someone could easily pocket half as "Admin" costs in that scenario and we would have no idea.

Sorry to be a cynic but once you automate it like that, it is more open to abuse.

 

i agree with yfs1. besides, i don't think it would be such a great idea to set up automated adsense donations and i doubt shawn will be up to it. revenue sharing is already a slightly dangerous enterprise for any publisher using it (google does not officially endorse it) and setting up charities will encourage more people trying to "donate" to particular adsense accounts by clicking on those ads which is nothing more than a click fraud despite the good cause intended. i help run a non-profit myself but i'd much rather see people donating thru paypal than via adsense where it's actually advertisers who "donate" without their consent.

 

I agree. There's too many people out there who are dishonest and will try and play on peoples sympathies for their own causes.

You could make it down to Shawns discretion but then that could be a lot of extra work that he doesnt have time for.

 

You can also donate directly to Dominics charity. Just do it in an amount that equals your AdSense total (plus a couple of bucks of course)

I've just noticed in the similar links at the bottom of this thread that there are 5 other threads all with the exact same title "revenue sharing"
