You talk about DP guys trying to get themselves DP reputation. What is it meant for? Any benefit/reward for gaining some reputation. If it is monetary lemme quickly go and cash my 10 points reputation....lol Ok, really guys, u got an ideaof its use?
The DP reputation means nothing for people with no or little reputation It means you are in the marketing business and you are good... in most cases. Cheers,
in DP I follow a 3 step process for determining whether a person is worth my time or not... 1. Reputation 2. Post Count 3. Date of Joining.. so yeah rep is pretty important..
This is just my opinion ( well i dont think all of the time the reputation on dp is important since some of the member are old enough that have no time to give a great review and feedback also, its not because you are new or old member here but the things you know and the information you can produced as well as your skills towards other member and client or company. Its all the services and satisfactory of each seller and buyer.
Reputation is the only thing which cannot be manipulated and you cannot get more numbers in a very short time. For more reps you have to be more consistent in your posts with the perfect outcome and the ID has to be old.
Most of the old members would say that REP is very important since it really helps people determine 'established' users with good background when doing business in the marketplace. Most of the new members however would totally be oblivious that a REP system exists nor do they give a damn about it. @Lucilla - Members don't really need to be 'that' old to get reps from someone.
Reputation is alot more safe then itrader in my eyes so i always look at it when trading. Reputation also helps to measure how much mountain dew a person drinks.
Reputation is really good for those who are selling or buying on this forum. The Better Reputations means you will get more customers.
