DP really is a licence to print money

I find it astonishing that DP allow known scammers to operate on this site and allow moderators to remove threads warning people about the dangers of doing business with them.

I was ripped off for over $400 which is no big deal but for some people it could be a devastating amount to lose and with no easy way to report the scammers DP is making their life as simple as possible and allowing innocent people to get ripped off.

    1. You are able to give feedback in the thread for the deal which went bad
    2. You are able to create or add to a "name and shame" thread in the General Chat section
    3. You are able to report the thread for the deal which went bad and we will look to see if there are any issues which come under the moderators scope
    4. You are able to report the other party to real world agencies who deal with crime
The moderators do not have the funding, ability or training to take judicial action nor the ability to enforce any decision they might make. We are, however, always open to suggestions of ways to protect our members. The problem often is that the suggested tactic can be used against good members and we want to avoid that.

welcome to the internet. Have a nice day.

I think most people here have had their own issues, I too have hired people and gotten nothing in return, and mind you, other times, I have hired people and had such low quality work, that it would have been better off to get nothing in return.

That said, I still think moderators should be able to terminate people that are clearly damaging the DP community.

OP. without knowing anything about the deal, or what went wrong, one thing to remember is this. I have seen people hire people from one forum, and pay them to leave feedback on another. This takes place everywhere, so you have to take a grain of salt to every review.

One thing you can do, is file paypal disputes, if that doesnt work (if or where possible) try filing a claim with your credit card company.
