    i am unsure weather my ad placement and subject matter falls within the tos, if i contact google with my url and it does not fall within the tos, will they allow me to remove the ads without cancelling my account. thanks.

    The TOS seems pretty clear to me so if in doubt, leave it out.

    But you should be OK asking them, I'd be VERY surprised if they ban you. Why not leave them off until you have an answer? There's not much you can do wrong with placement.

    As long as you dont exceed th allowed number of ad blocks and link units you can break the TOS with placement.

    As far as content the TOS is pretty clear about what is allowed and what isnt.
