    New moderators are nominated and voted on by the forum staff, with final approval going to Shawn. We're already aware that we're understaffed, and have already created a list of folks we'd like on board. But without Shawn, we have to wait. And for the record, suggesting yourself as a moderator is the surest way of not becoming one.
