    Dear Dp

I have just come out of a 3 month ban. ( Its horrible was like a prison sentance lol ).

I did try getting intouch in first few days but had no luck.

I honestly did not know that I had a another account on dp and would like you to know I will honestly never ever use another account or register again.

    * So please may you remove any other account associated with this ip and my names sharaaz and please may you make a note of it that i just served a 90 day ban incase a mod does it again and i have no way of contacting you.

I have read all the rules and will use the forums as a sensible member and will have this as my sole account.

Thank you and happy to be back.

    Sharaaz:)

Is this a joke? You are trying to tell me you HONESTLY had no idea you had another account (it wasn't one account, it was 24... TWENTY FOUR accounts that you HONESTLY didn't know about. Right.

Not only that, logs show you were logged into believer1984, saw you were banned, immediately logged out and then created the sharaaz account.

While we are being completely honest with each other, let's take a look at this thread that believer1984 posted: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=972359 Do you think it's strange he's asking people to email him at the same email address that your sharaaz account is registered to?

Your 24 accounts that you honestly didn't know you had will be merged, and you can use it when your ban time is over. If you need to contact us, you can do it on Twitter.

Again, thank you for your honesty, it's appreciated and is a nice feeling knowing we have such honest users.

I can understand 20 accounts being a mistake. But 24? Come on, buddy... that's a tough pill to swallow!

Pardon me but are you two robs the same? :p
    Joking.

But seriously, I have a friend (and it doesnt mean it is my another account as you may think) who got banned for duplicate accounts. I personally know him and he never had another account in DP, but got nailed for no mistake done. So, the point is, whatever algorithm you have, it has flaws. I suggested him to tell Admin everything on twitter, but nothing happened.
In India, as I assume must be the condition is several countries, all our Internet connections are dynamic address based. And thus, honestly, I am too always feared of getting banned.

Once I read somewhere that moderators are specially suspicious on itrader exchange on same IP, so I started to ask all Indians who become my customers not to leave an itrader. God knows who has same IP as mine. better not to have big itrader score than to get banned for 3 months.

Matching IPs were the least of this kid's problems. Add matching emails and a pattern of puppet shows on several forums where multiple members indicated they were getting ripped off, but buyers praising him shared his sig elsewhere or sold his domains as their own.

He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Given the number of IPs on the internet, what are the chances the ONLY users not raising an alarm in a WTS thread just happen to share his?

Not to mention his own words didn't help... the moron is already on my blog again showing his true colors: http://robjones3030.wordpress.com/about/#comment-3292

His alligator mouth gets his parakeet butt in trouble. You'd think somebody that lies as often would be better at it. Go figure.

    P Sharma,
It's not always about the IP check most of the times. Your best buddy might have created some long-forgotten account years ago, and now it may have come down to haunt him. Or it could have been another account(his friend's maybe) being logged on from his pc.

Or he could have been simply on the wrong side of the line.

Hey, after all, it's not a perma ban.. Cheers! :-| :-|

Yes, that is best point that ban if temporary. his account is now live again, but he has opt not to use it for selling because of that ban.

He shouldn't have any problem now. He's served his 'punishment'. He should be clean now. :-\
