Twice today, I have mentioned in the forum how absolutely mind-numbing the basic seo off-site stuff is. I see some ridiculously low prices for individual services here but have no way of knowing the quality/permanance of the links submitted etc. At the same time, I recognise that anyone who is offering to do the donkey work on subs - unless they are auto-submitting - wants to have some form of justifiable and regular income. Instead of spending the time finding new clients, anyone doing the subs services woud be able to do so better if they had a guaranteed income for the month and spent their time, only doing the submitting, don't you think? How about anyone who is interested in dir subs and article subs gets together as a client group. Together we can offer an individual enough money to make a reasonable monthly salary. Together we can negotiate for group terms - but they must be fair to the service supplier. In turn he or she knows that as a group, we are quite likely to give great kudos when the job is done well - or conversely bitch and moan if we find the subs terms are not met... Just thinking aloud really, but as someone who hates the whole submission side of websites but is leery of buying services like this on-line, I would be interested in supporting a DP'er who we all know and trust.
A lot of the submission services are done by people in countries with much lower wages than the US & Europe. I find its very hard to spend my marketing budget on this forum as services are normally pretty cheap. As long as you choose somebody with an established thread you are normally fine.
That's not really the point mad4. You do article subs services. Wouldn't you like to recieve a remit for 20 sites at a time, knowing that if you can do a good job, all the DP members in the package will sing your praises. I have had the experience of paying for subs services that were supposed to be permanent but the links disappeared after some months - across the board. I just don't want to go there again. At the same time, I feel that what the subs guys are offereing is a really valuable service and if we could, as a group, help one memeber each month, establish a rep in this regard - well that's a positive step towards that person growing his business, no?
