    It is pure laziness on my part....

    I had a search up there - people were using it and complaining because their sites were not showing up for their searches.

    Example:

    Submitter "Hey Phynder, I submitted my site and when I do a search on 'dingo babies' my site doesn't show up in the search results."

    Phynder "Hmmm... That is interesting. What does your site description say?"

    Submitter "Australian Dogs - Child care by wild animals"

    Phynder "Uh... Okay, your description doesn't have either 'dingo' or 'babies' in it... My search is pretty much just exact text search. Sorry."

    Submitter "Well, Google can figure it out - why can't you!?? I want my money back!"

    Phynder "Okay..."

    This has been fun for me and I have been excited about the quality of most (okay - not all... but still the vast majority...) of the submissions.

    I just noticed that msnbot just started crawling Phynder from the top this morning and is slowing working its way through the directory. Good news for anyone who recently submitted.

    Now, if we can just get silly ol' Googlebot back for a look see...
