    Hello,

    I have brought 3 domains here - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2413408
They are supposed to be PR3 websites as stated in the thread.

Now one of them is PR0, there is no PR update, I just started building a website and I did nothing with the SEO part.

    Check this - https://www.majesticseo.com/reports...w.tstrongtransportation.net&IndexDataSource=F

The domain has few backlinks from N/A web pages, I did not investigate much before purchase which is my mistake. I just saw the domain PR from my chrome tool and I purchased it. I think its a redirected domain. I opened a paypal dispute where he blames me which is a big joke. He says, I have 2 paypal accounts and hence I am a cheater. My wife has sent the money and while asking a refund via pm, I asked to send to my paypal id. Well, we are two people working online. Me and my wife and we both have each one account with all valid CC, bank etc details.

Now can anybody suggest me on how to deal with this paypal dispute, its currently under paypal expert review.

    Regards

You really really have to watch when buying just domains with PR. I'd honestly never buy a domain that has PR unless it has some unique content and well established backlinks.

There is nothing you can do. Give them a negative itrader and ALWAYS check the backlinks. You said in that other topic that this is the 5th time you've been scammed.

I'm not trying to offend you but being a webmaster is not for everyone. You should know better.

This is happening everywhere, not just on Digital Point forums.

So true, but sadly Digital Point is becoming famous as a cheaters/scammers hang out, and as a peanut-job marketplace.

On the other hand, many people forge fake headers and use .htaccess tricks to point worthless domains to legitimate PR sites, hence be cautious with this.

I would always check the number of backlinks to the site, I usually don't buy a domain unless it has 50 or so different backlinks to it. Usually more

Well, there are scammers everywhere, you just have to be smart, and everytime you do a transaction, it is a risk.

try leaving itraders instead of comments in the Sell Domain post, not everyone check previous Buy/Sell posts.

There are many guys who use this trick and sell them at very cheap rate. If he is not willing to refund you, Just give him a negative itrader.
So when you are buying at domains with PR, you have to check all backlinks individually.
Also check at Google like this
    site:example.com
If you see About 15 to 20 results, and not enough backlinks don't buy.
For PR3, must have 1000+ results, if the domain don't have enough backlinks from other sites.
This is not enough of checking, From the results test few pages, Check the Pagerank of all pages.
They may have some pagerank, may be PR0 to PR3 or may be more. atleast one page with PR1 you will get if it is a good one.

Its not very nice to see anyone scammed but yes it does happen but to get scammed 5 times this is telling me that you are either a complete novice with plenty of money to burn or a very 'Gullible' person the latter option is the one that i am leaning towards.

Flippa is full of traffic reseller sites and Facebook/Social site fan supplier sites - they tend to be the scam of 2012 - but I guess when fools keep buying them, then fools will keep selling them to the fools, they say where there's demand - there's a market and there's no shortage of fools online... So I guess I should just start selling to fools.

Report him to the mods here. If you bought via PayPal you can make a complaint there.
