Yesterday, I faced similar problems while trying to access DP from my Home PC and the DP pages most of the times failed to load up.. while other sites like google and Yahoo saw no problems!
Today, DP is loading up fine from my office PC... the difference being home PC has FF version 3.6 while office PC still has FF version 3.5.7!

Could it be the latest version of FF that is posing the problem?

    Regards,

It is. I've noticed the bug, and I switched over to FF. I'll go investigate the DP source code.

I've had problems with multiple sites since my last Firefox upgrade, where sites are failing to connect the first time. It happens to about 5% of sites -- not often, but often enough that I know it's not a particular site's fault (at least in my case -- perhaps Shawn was working on something that caused issues on the front-end temporarily too).

I've been seeing a strange problem today on DP with images - for example instead of the icons in the lower-right of each post, I see linked text for:

Reply with Quote Multi-Quote This Message Quick reply to this message

I'm seeing similar problems with other icons on DP.

I was also facing the same problem yesterday night. Then it solved after I restarted my PC. Maybe you can try restarting your PC.

Did you try flushing your cache?

Was this issue occurring because of Firefox? I've noticed forum posts takes so long to load. I am using Firefox 3.5.7
