Well, other people gave their thanks too. I Guess it's Shawn's way of giving back to the community. Remember though, this is not a source of income. If you have 5000 Posts and start really good topics, you might get 10 USD or around that per month. But the thought counts, and after all, he's unique. I never saw others owners with such big hearts. He even left members the possiblity to have PR transferable links (without nofollow) in signatures (4 links even), not like Seochat (nofollow's) or Webmasterworld (where you can't even post a link).
