I'm attempting to learn how to cook my favourite Indian dishes at home (thanks to vahrehvah.com) - malai kofta, palak paneer, mutter paneer, and dahl makhani. But the preparation time is killing me! How many of you actually cook what the rest of the us consider typical "Indian food"? Or do you all eat noodles and pizza every night?
I am not from India but i cook desi foods as i am from Pakistan.. Palak Paneer n daal makhni is delicious. Btw i like desi foods here at GAZebo like thaali, dhosa, daal fry, chaat etc and i can cook loads of desi foods as well including vegetables Thanks PHYza
I myself do not know many Indian food preparations...but I am lucky to have a wife who is highly skilled in this department as she has tremendous liking for cooking and can even cook different dishes every night for a whole month! She certainly has found her way to my heart through my stomach! Regards, RightMan

I do really love Indian foods. I’m not an Indian, but I lived for several years in India. South/North Indian and West Bengal dishes are my favorite . BTW, I never tried cooking Indian food, as you said; it’s really time killing process. The lesson I’ve learnt, cooking is not for Suman . But I’ve no problem to eat delicious foods .
