I decided to get back to being active on DP after a pretty long absence (since my favorite section of the forum was pretty dead for a while). My account got limited and look at my membership stats: Joined: Nov 25, 2007 Messages: 1,352 Likes Received: 31 ... So I try to post something and I get this: Specifically, you become an established member 48 hours after you register AND 3 different existing established members "Like" something you wrote ... I guess my 31 likes are less than 3 likes required. Does that make any sense?
Well that is my question. I am required to have 3 likes in order to post in certain sections (like Contests) - however I have 31 likes. Why is it not letting me to post than? Edit: Nevermind, it seems like this privilege has now been activated.
Privileges are added by an hourly cron job and it only runs on recently active users. Since you just returned, the system only processed your user upgrades.
