    Yes, it is penalized certainly but it happens to a lot of high ranked forums!

    PR goes up and down, i recently saw one of my own sites regain a little pr after dropping a little not long ago.

    More frequent changes now.

    Things change all the time now, it's not about PR, it's about content and whether or not the website has something to offer to visitors. In this case DP certainly does. No pagerank is bigger than a site it's self!

    I think there is nothing to worry about. we all like DP so that Big G also like it. Pr is always fluctuating not remains same as previous.

    Tell me, who cares about PR?? If you like to come here and be member with good reputation, would you think about PR?? That DP is PR1, I would come everyday and post 30-40 posts daily...

    DP is not penalised by Google, just do a search on Google for your tread title or any other.

    So what, PR is mean less and DP is the best example out there..!

    It still showing in the SERP's real high and IMHO i think DP traffic remain the same ;)

    Focus more on the SERP's guys, and forget about PR unless your planning to sell links :)

    Correlation - DP was PR7 2 years ago. 2 years later = many more posts and pages.

    PR may now be spread a little thinner throughout the site.
