    LOL, sorry bro, theres so many DP members the chances of us having an election...well is just fail. LOL, I'm sure we'd pick someone eventually though.

    What purpose would that serve? Lets be serious now, if we're just going to spam I'll just report this thread to the mods and have it closed before any trouble starts from it :(

    lol, you mean the same peaceful Obama that said he would wipeout Pakistan?

    I think we are making this racial issue a lot bigger then it really is and everything. Sure, 97% of the black population (and I say black because not all are African-American), but the stats have shown that the black population predominantly votes democratic. The numbers I saw were 90%, 94%, 88%, and can't remember the other for the last four elections or something, it's been awhile.

    Anyways, no matter who is in office if they can't get everyone to work together it's going to be the same old thing. I love the fact that Obama's ideas can help everyone but getting them to take shape is a whole other story. I mean he told everyone he was going to lower taxes when he got to the Senate and hasn't been able to do it yet.

    Sorry for the devil's advocate here, but you just never know what's going to happen. I am still debating on who to vote for tomorrow just because I believe it's a lot more difficult then people are making it.

    Hopefully though the end result will help us in the next 4 years.

    Apologies guys, I didn't mean that. I can't edit the poll, but if a wondering Mod would like to help out our typo issue......((*wink* *wink* *nod* *nod*))

    <start debate>

    Well a few got into it so I'll throw in my vote. I vote for McCain. I believe in his values and his service to the US is admirable. Experience is key when getting us out of the mess that the US is in. I don't believe Obama is the right guy for this term - he is too inexperienced. I believe that people are voting for Obama because he promises us change, but not one person can tell me what change actually is. He says he will pull out of Iraq, so after the day is done, the US is just going to let Iraq sink back into chaos? I can't support that. He supports abortion, and partial birth abortion - he supports murdering children who survive the abortion process. His plan for the economy will greatly increase taxes and hurt the middle and lower class - and not the upper class where action needs to be the most. Obama shows no foreign diplomatic skills what so ever, proven time and time again, most recently with Russia's invasion of Georgia. So I ask, why would anyone vote for Obama?

    </start debate>

    ((there, that should be good enough to start a good debate :) ))

    btw-as of the time of my post: RCP Average: Obama +7.3%

    I'm voting for Obama because I like him. I won't vote for McSame because I don't want Sara Palin to become President when McCain dies of old age in office.

    That is one reason why they don't want McCain as a president because of Palin, anyway, Obama will win but if McCain win, a catastrophe might happen. Riot and stuffs. lol

    That's fine. It's still a lot less than Obama will do on his path of destruction. I'm fairly sure Obama is just going to destroy us - he's already been quoted as "wanting to rewrite the bill of rights". Obama for the lose.

    Apparently the 250k wasn't true. Then it was 200k. Then it was 150k. Then it was 120k (Gov Richardson). And still, the dems seem to keep drinking that weak koolaid.

    What Obama and his supporters don't want us to know, though, is that he really thinks the middle class caps off at 70k. But if Obama told the truth, for once, he'd lose votes, so he chose a nice big juicy number to obfuscate his real plan.

    Apparently mid-west values differ substantially from those on the east and west coast. Where I was raised, a man was taught to carry his own weight. That you get out, bust your ass and stop sitting around whining about how opportunities don't just come and knock on the front door, but rather you go out and make opportunities. Welfare and wealth redistribution stifles creativity, ambition and creates a class of the lazy and unmotivated, content on mediocrity and getting by with the least amount of effort.

    The democrat party is in dire need of a good dewussification.
