I sold a package to a member on here, after I noticed one of the products (that I bought and paid for legitamately) was warez I removed it from the package, replaced it and sent him a message telling him and offering to send him the new package.

The product wasn't one of the main things in the package, more of a filler, he quickly got angry and demanded a refund, after many apolagies.

I asked him if her could explain why.

He didn't reply, and left me a negative iTrader calling me a scammer, I did not scam anyone, and this wanker could ruin my business here on DP.

I was perfectly happy with giving him a refund, I just asked him why.

I would advise anyone on here not to deal with jimanx

    He is not worth it.

Ouch sorry to hear :( You could report the rating and let the DP staff remove it I guess.

Don't worry about it. In all fairness, you should have checked the product before you sold it on, but we'll overlook that for now ;) Also, don't worry about the negative iTrader: you already have 23 positive points so one negative doesn't really make much difference, especially if he has 0 iTrader himself.

Users under 250-300 posts shouldn't be able to do business. :) Just my 2 cents.

Haha, that might be a bit harsh! I started doing business after around 5 posts and all went well. It would certainly clear up the BST area if people with under 25 posts were restricted from it, and it was a private area. But hey, what can you do :p

:) Maybe start a new system: restrict users from BST under 250 posts OR 200 Rep Greens? That way users had to gain community trust to access BST.

But this way they would spam all forums just to post count... Ahhh heck, better leave it this way!

DragonKeeper, don't worry too much about the negative itrader and good luck! As kiteguy123 told you, 1 -ve itrader among 20's it's no problem at all.

Woh! That's extremely harsh lol! I reckon 50 posts at maximum, but then if you spam you get a lifetime ban! ;):p

It doesnt take long to get 250 posts to be honest, that are on topic and contributive to the forum. It can be done in less than a week, which is the time required to even activate your signature area and post live links in topics, and even make topics in the forums to do business in anyways.

Well, when a new member starts to post 35-60 comments per day in his first week...it certainly raises red flags to the mods. There are tons of guys who were banned from DP, they re-register and they try to build up their post count again in a couple of weeks.

I agree with you Scubita about the limited access to the BST section, it would be a lot harder for scammers to register new accounts and bump their threads multiple times (just like TheEinstein did it with his "$1200 per day" thread).

And who's going to check the quality of the posts if there are such limits set?

People can just post like one liners and get to 250 posts quickly. It will not change anything.

It's not that easy to post 250 one liners, if somebody does that in eg. 3 days, than it'll raise a red flag and mods will ban him for spamming.

A limit of 250 posts could change things in the BST section, which is quite chaotic nowadays.

It might change things, but think of all the spam you'd get in the main sections such as general business and general marketing with people doing their for sale threads. After all, there are already quite a few, so it's just going to make it harder for the mods to keep a handle on, but at the same time it'll be a lot easier to control the BST

It seems like you did the right thing, I'm sorry you got labeled as a scammer.
