Probably for the fact that the Freebies section is covered with "Free Stumbles." I know Digg watches urls that enter their site from DP very closely for any sort of +digg fraud which can get many users banned. I have not seen any real proof that it's happening with Stumbleupon, but I wouldn't doubt it. I tried + stumbling DP before and got that same message so it's nothing new. Sucks that we can't show some love for one our fave sites!
Old news, it has been banned ever since. There is a more detailed explanation, I forgot where it was though.
It's been banned for a while, so the ban was probably because of all the stumble exchanges in the first place, but I believe DP took those exchanges down because they were basically spamming the freebies section.
Yes DIGG , STUMBLE all people banned DP due the freebie section exchanges i think this is the reason why DP stopped these exchanges
it's about time if they did I haven't been around the forums much lately, but I know I get damn tired of searching the new post for some good sales or info, and seeing 50% of the post in the freebie sections for stupid bookmark trades! That's what namepro's is for </rant>
The stumble exchanges WERE not the ONLY and MAIN reason why Digital Point was banned from Stumble Upon, and I am pretty sure Shawn is aware of this. Don't post "becauses" not unless you are so sure. Better yet, read this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=534875
wooha read whole the thread and here is the answer from shawn http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=5143177&postcount=57
