A friend turned me on to this website - www.downtimereport.net

I just signed up and listed a couple of my websites. I opted for the premium service ($19.95/year) and activated SMS text messaging.

The website is very easy to use and registration took just a few minutes.

Check it out if you are looking for a solution like this with SMS notification :D

Hi. Thanks for the promo. You'll find our service is a bargain compared to more popular sites out there. I use it on my own sites, its very handy for anybody that makes a living from their sites.

The TXT feature is liberating...you don't have to sit by your computer all day worried your site is down and you don't know about it.

Please let me know how you like it after you start using it. You can monitor up to 3 domains with the free service, and the premium service goes up to 15 domains plus the SMS alerts.

There's also a free one (You only pay for the SMS), at Host-Tracker.

I'm not affiliated with them, I just use them, they're great!

My blog seems to be down at the moment www.gadood.com - but when I submit on this tool it says it's up.

My site just timesout - it's been doing it for a few hours now.

    Anyone know what's up?

    Pete

Came up fine for me. Might be just your ISP. Or something in between.

BTW, it's ran out of stock. You might want to fix it.

Yes, I read the whole thing, well almost.
