At the moment I am attempting to run php in a notepad document from my local machine using XAMPP. However, I am arriving at this error message every time I attempt to run Apache.

If someone could please assist me with this issue I would be extremely grateful. I have already tried to sift through various other forums on Google but have not been able to find a solution, or at least one I have been able to understand. I am a newbie when it comes to this and am attempting to learn a thing or two so please teach me. Thank you.
