The point is, if a couple is sitting down and discussing names, do you imagine them surfing the web while doing it?
Isn't it easier to print a priori reports that fit your needs, i.e. based on gender or name starting letter, and then sitting down and going through them?
Site also makes use of mod_rewrite for both pages and pdf pages, for better search engines rankings

just for the info, the data in the pdf files are populated dynamically from the database depending on the request sent.

sure, i can make it list 100 in each file or any other number you specify.
Of course, each pdf file would contain more than one page.

Let me know what this number should be.
Or I can make it an editable number for the buyer where he can edit it from a config file.

 

Well, the point was that too many pages would need printing, sorry for not being clear enough.

Did a modification.
check http://www.printablenames.info/nameslist/letter/a/page/1/
now each page can contain 75 entries.
letter a is down to 18 pages.
If you like it i can do the same for the gender reports.

 

now all the sections including the origin pdf's and the gender pdf's are compact as in the example above.
