All, I'm currently building a website that will provide software and downloadable documents. I need to be able to upload the documents and software easily with their description. I looked at oscommerce, but this means I would have to get the customer to go to checkout before downloading the item. I've looked at wordpress, but can't see how it would work with my ides. The closest match I have is Joomla (Content Management), as this will let me upload articles from a backend, but this as far as I can see won't let me upload files for download. I need to easily upload hundreds of downloads, so they can be displayed nicely for the customer. I'll be then updating the content every week with an additional 10-20. Has anyone built such a site? At the moment, I'll probably be throwing the downloads into a directory and getting the customer to download them..bit ugly though. Kindest regards, James
