I have a download manager in place that I need to add to. Currently it has two folders in it that link to hd's on my server. Anything in those folders are subject to the download manager. What I need is to be able to add a folder to the download manager that links to my home hd. I created a folder in the download manager folder, but since it is in the home directory (not in the domain directory), I can't seem to link files to anything in there? The programmer who set it up for me has it so that each folder is linked to a different hd. I can't seem to find how he did it and repeat it for the actual original hd on my server. (the programmer is no longer available to help out). So basically here how it looks: /home/downloads/folder1 - this points to one hd and it has a duplicate folder that seems to be linked to it on the site (ie: home/usernamehere/public_html/folder1) Anything uploaded to home/usernamehere/public_html/folder1 appears in the home/downloads/folder1 as well. That way it is managed by the download manager and I can still link to it on the website. It is repeated for the thrid hd as well. So I need either, to be able to duplicate what he did for the original hd, or find a way to link to the home/downloads/ folder? Hopefully it's not to confusing! I can pm a copy of the download manager script if it helps figure this out. Thanks!
