Downgrading WP 2.6 to WP 2.5

Hi there, I am looking to downgrade WP 2.6 to WP 2.5 after I realised that the TLA plugin does not work with WP 2.6 and I lost all my ads in the process. I have been using WP 2.6 for several months before I only realised the problem in the last 48 hours, but I do not have a working backup for the previous WP 2.5 since I have been posting in WP 2.6. Does anyone know how I can revert my WP installation back to 2.5?

    Thanks.

New versions come out for a reason; downgrading exposes you to all the now publicly known security vulnerabilities of the old version. You can be easily hacked and lose everything.

Is "TLA" not an actively developed plugin anymore? The author should release a new version for WP 2.6+.

    Dan's right, you shouldn't downgrade.

TLA are pretty good are fixing things if something is wrong.

I just checked TLA for an old site I have using them. They suggest that you use <?php if(is_home()) tla_ads(); ?>

However, from version 2.5 WordPress replaced is_home with is_front_page. Therefore you should try using <?php if(is_front_page()) tla_ads(); ?>

TLA's updated plugin works pretty well on both of my blogs (see sig). They are 2.6.1 and I have no problems so far.

I would also strongly advice against downgrading as I would hate to see a fellow blogger's work ruined because of well-known and addressed security breach...
