Doubts on pingbacks

    Hi everyone,
    I understand that pingback is something you get notified of when someone links to your site. I've got a few pingbacks in my site. Now, how do I find out who has linked to me? Could someone help me out? I'm a newbie so I'd appreciate a detailed explanation. Thanks in advance for your time.

    Yes, I use wordpress.

    Say, I have another doubt. Will I get a pingback only when a site links to me or even when I leave comments in a blog with dofollow tag? technically, it's considered a backlink, right? Why don't I get pingbacks for that? Could you guys explain this? Thanks again for your time.
