I am planning to use paypal for my online transactions. Is there any better alternatives? Also is it safe to use the paypal accounts?
My opinion is coming from a US perspective. I am not sure where you are from. However, paypal has been secure for me and my customers. I do get upset that I don't see much innovation from Paypal, the service has been nearly the same for years. However, it has been reliable and low cost.

Yeah I've been using Paypal for about 2 years now and I haven't had any problems with them. It's just chargebacks from people that's a pain but that's the price of business.
Hi! I guess the second best alternative would be google checkout..I have had that for sometime as well. You also may want to take a look at the costs involved with a full-service payment processor like 2co. Until you build a volume..there's really nothing like Paypal. I've had accounts for years..and only the last week have I ever had a payment held...other than the e-checks. I had no problem learning why..Paypal has issues with the payer. Still..I can recommend them. Bryon
