How can i find out the total number of pages in a site ? the only thing i know about landing page is ,it is the page where the product is been sold . can a normal websites have landing page ? how will i find the total number of pages of this site ?this is a landing page if am not wrong . i wanted to register for few CPA company so i wanted to know about this .. reply will be highly appreciated and +rep thanks in advance .
Hello, to find total number of pages in the site you need to see the sitemap of the website. if you want to know total number of pages indexed in Google, you will have to write in the query box the following: site:http://www.xyz.com/ if there isn't a sitemap, you can create one using the xml sitemap tool available. definition of landing page depends upon the webmaster. like if i am searching for something and i click your web site on the SERP, then the page i land on is the landing page. on the other hand, if i am working with the AdWords, then the destination URL i enter for the particular Ad is the landing page. most of the times landing page is the page where you convince the visitor to deal with you or move encourage him/her to move to the conversion page. the landing page must be quite compelling. Actually i was asking about the second type of landing page that you have mentioned ie Adwords landing page When i made search on google for site:http://www.bookmarkingdemon.com/ , i found only 4 pages indexed . where has the main page or indexed page disappeared . So landing page of bookmarking demon must be more than 1 page long at least ,that is what i can see from the sales page of the site . From this should i make out that landing page consists of more than 1 page but all the page appears in 1 PAGE as in the site that i have mentioned .
