is logo and header the same thing ? what should be the header size of my wordpress ? Search Engine Optimisation should it be 760*200 or 350*100 initially i thought it should be 760*200 but someone in this forum said that my logo should be of size 350*100 please help am new .
header is the top of the page, it may contain title text or logo. I hope everything is clear now, feel free to write if you still have problems.
The reason why you have taken the two concepts together mistakenly is probably due to the Wordpress CSS codes which by default, put the logo section and the relevant texts in the H part. The logo graphics do not have standard sizes and are custom created according to the websites specifications and business needs.
The header size whould generally be small, as you want content "above the fold" so that people can see it without scrolling down. Of course, with some of the more elaborate designs you can get away with a bigger header.
