Doubt abt Adsense referral

    Well,
I run a small computer coaching center as my profession.
There are some people who are interested in using some ad network after completing the web design course, and after making their first website.
As everyone knows, Adsense is the best.
So, i suggest them to try Adsense.

My query is this, can i make those students as my referrals since they signed up for adsense as per my suggestion?
Will it be legal to do that, since i may have to ask them to go through my referral code to make that possible.

Is it legal as per TOS?

    Thanks in advance

don't allow them to register from your IP ( if anyone did as fraud , then you too will get banned )

I am not positive that signing up a lot of referrals all from say, your office would get you banned. As long as they are all good, valid accounts you should be ok - but, I'm not so sure of this that I would risk my account..

Tell them to go home, and sign up via your website. IMHO, these are all legitimate referrals since you are the one that told them about the program and how good it is. That is exactly what a referral is.
