doubt about url submitting

    Hi Friends, need your valueble help. for quite sometime i have been submitting my blog to many directories and blog commenting etc. the doubt i have is, when i mention my url i used to do this way (http://mysite.blogspot.com). Is it right? or i have to put (www)?

    The www is technically optional. You should try to link to your page using the same format for each link though. Some websites automatically redirect you from http://domain.com to http://www.domain.com. They do this to avoid giving Google two copies of every page on their site. Since you probably don't have that capability with a blogspot blog, just try to always use the same format url that you've been using.

    Most of the time your browser will change your URL automatically to www. however some sites are www2. so be careful. Doesn't matter really.

    But if you are submiting to directories you have to think about everyone, some people might not have up to date browsers and it might not change the URL.

    Yes http://mysite.blogspot.com is fine. Just try to avoid getting any links with http://www.mysite.blogspot.com then. Very few blogspot users use the www in their urls.

    I don't know what Unreal is talking about regarding browsers adding the www. I have never seen the browser do that. Many sites do this automatically, but it is done by code on the site, not by the browser itself.
