I am having big doubt about keyword research by using google adword keyword research tool ! When we search any keyword in Google Adword keyword research tool, it shows result for competition, global search volume, local search volume and other.... My doubt is - competition column represent the Advertisers competition OR Natural Search (organic competition) ! If it shows Advertisers competition, then why we use that result for natural search ! Also suggest me good keyword research tool ! Thanks.
Google keyword research tool is primarily used as a reference for PPC (Google Adwords) keywords to be used and using it alone is not a good idea to get keywords to rank in Google. There are different approaches to doing keyword research, using keyword research tool is just the first step - an idea as per PPC. You can also use Keyword Tracker but again as mentioned they only suggest, it's really up to you how you treat the data provided.
Ok ! Thanks for reply ! Can u tell me in detail, what are the different approaches to do keyword research ! What strategy and tool you use for keyword research? Is there any tool which give me, natural search results for local, global and organic keyword competition ! Excluding following, Market Samurai, Word tracker, Keyword Discovery, SEO Book !
i think in addition to the Google keyword research tool, you should try the wordpot online tool. this tool shows the popularity of the natural searches in various search engines. the normal search popularity tells you how much a keyword is popular and how easy is to get the ads visible. hope this would help you.
Hi thanks for reply ! For Popularity of searches have many tools and each tool shows different results for particular keyword, I have also tried wordpot but still not satisfied it shows only search volume, not natural competition ! Is there any tool you know which give me natural competition for keyword? Or i have to do it manually, for each keyword competition related to organic i have to go by an exact quote search to determine how many pages in the index have that phrase
