I'd love to find an advertising network that pays close to a dollar. Are you able to tell us which company that is?
If it's banner cpm, is very very very good. The higher the cpm, the higher your earnings because 0.98$ means that every 1000 views, you get 98 cents. If this is cpm for popups or popunders maybe it's not very high, because I do 2$/1000 views, but if it's banner ecpm (so with graphical banners) it's very high... with banners I do just 0.20$/1000 views, with italian traffic
Ah, the plot thickens. It's all about referrals. I'm on CPM fun right now. That sort of CPM DOES pop up occasionally, but, really, CPM fun is just like any other network. eCPM fluctuates, and if you're not relying heavily on earnings from advertising, this network will do just fine. I am, however, thinking of switching to something else. Any tips, pointers?
Perfectly normal: when your site first arrives, there's a ton of ads waiting to be shown. Then they run out and you get the lower-paid options (lower tiers, RON and so on). My eCPM at CPMFun is usually around the $0.20 mark, which is fine and normal. For CPM? CPMGo works fine and has responsive support (but a horrible Clicksor-style admin interface), plus they have a (weird) passthrough system, unlike many. Qadabra seems reasonable, too. Neither is pure CPM.

$ 0.98 is a medium CPM to pop-ups. It is better to avoid from working with a lot of networks. You have to do tests all the time and switch between networks. You should work with a single network has direct advertisers, technology and integration with other similar networks. WMADV - WEBMEDIA
If you are very happy with something then use it and make tests with other networks from time to time.
The only thing to be careful of is moving too much and getting too greedy, most people do great with a network then jump ship for a pipe dream which someone sells them, and they end up losing big time because that source was highly unreliable. Stick with your main network as a primary, and test others, if you see something and test it, and you find its good, and its reliable then play around with adjustments on that one a little more. Dont keep all your eggs in 1 basket, but don't take all your eggs and put them in a long shot.
I'm only using the other networks to supplement Tribal Fusion. It's not as much about greed, as it is about wanting to optimize my ad potential.
Thats the best way to do it. There are a lot of people who don't do it that way and literally switch networks cause they think they are going to make more money, and they lose big time in the end.
I hope this is the best way to do it. I've been experimenting around to see what works best. My idea was to use Tribal Fusion as my main network, while relying on an assortment of other networks to fill the remaining inventory.
Thats a good way to go. Thats what a lot of the smaller networks you see running around on these forums do for the most part. So if you can do it yourself and optimize it, its a good strategy.
I'm actually going to create my own ad network manager program, so I can have more control on which networks I want to feature.
