    i see some people that have doubleclick ads on their websites. When I mouse over their ad banners, I see the links spelled like http://doubleclick.net.....

    I went on doubleclick website and i can't find a link to sign up.. anyone is part of the doubleclick program, please share any tips on how to get accepted to doubleclick.

    BTW, I am now a publisher on connectcommerce also called the google Affiliate program, which is part of doubleclick program.

    my links banner url is very different than say http://www.cooksrecipes.com

    Doubleclick is more of a service for advertisers and publishers. It's not an ad network with display ads like Adsense.

    You could buy their service, but then you'd have to find advertisers yourself. They just manage and serve the ads.
