What I think is that we can add different ad network in DFP including Adsense. Anyone had experience, why few people doing that? (disclaimer, I had no experience in DFP)
I am not sure about double click. But I did some work for one of my clients to run Adense and other ad network through OpenX (www.openx.org). It is permitted by Google and the CPM rate is better as more bidder bids on the ad spot. Assuming double click provide the same service, you should receive better result as well.
I am thinking the same way. If you look at adsense text links, mostly from doubleclick.. Google is the biggest media but I would say it is not all.. I will try for sure, it is just complicated at the first look... anyone has experience?
Have any of you dumba**es tried DoubleClick yet? The quality of the comments to this topic is plain dumb to say the least with exception of the openx remark. DoubleClick is a platform to serve ads. You should which spots are available across your sites and then manage them directly from the doubleclick panel. Adsense already comes integrated with DoubleClick, if you desire then it will put an adsense code on ad positions that are available. One of the biggest advantages (at least for me) is that I can filter out the traffic to who the ads are shown. I don't use exclusively adsense, other CPM networks also provide a good amount of money but I only want these ads to be displayed to people outside the US. Also, you can set the max number of prints per visitor, meaning that your visitor won't likely click on a publicity after 5 to 10 times so you might as well show him something different. ---------------- So, quit whinning that adsense is better than doublick as they're both quite different. One is a publicity network and the other is a publicity manager.
