Hello, I am wondering about a double meta refresh. I hear it talked about a lot to "blank the refferer". Can it also be used for CPA in another way? Say maybe I was sending tons of incensitived traffic to an offer, but I did not want the network to see where it was coming from. Would a double meta refresh on my website hide it? Or do I just simply need a redirect and they would see it all coming from my website? Example: I want viewers to go to www.mainwebsite.com I send them to www.mywebsite.com I put a double meta refresh on www.mywebsite.com and send them to mainwebsite.com would mainwebsite.com see all of the traffic coming from my site, or would they not be able to see where it was coming from at all? Any help is much appreciated! Or if I have the concept of double meta refreshes completely wrong please correct me! Jared
Sounds blackhat, I wouldn't recommend doing anything like that. But, if you must, you could make it so the affiliate doesn't see where the users are coming from by forwarding them to a page on your website that then refers them to the end site. E.g. user clicks link to "mywebsite.com" which forwards to "mainwebsite.com" rather than users simply clicking on a link directly to "mainwebsite.com".
The only people who want to do double meta refreshes are frauders and credit card thieves. @Topic Starter: you are up to no good and you know it. Google around for cookie stuffing forums and you will find more than enough information. But remember CS discussion is not allowed on DP.
