Hello, i have recently added a new mod to my site which creates a new page for every layout i add. Because of the way this mod works i am unable to add a single hyphen for the urls to work so i have added two hyphens.

I really dont know how this will affect my SE placings etc so can anyone help me here, will i lpace just as high because of the 2 hyphens compared to a single hyphen?

    Heres an example

    Thanks

    Listen,
No one will be to give you very accurate answer, since no one knows how their algorithms work.

If I were to say, I would say with probability 95% and may be more, they will be able to parse it without any problems.

I registered a double hyphened URL for my business and couldn't get it to rank at all in Google - I think they're more apt to end up in the sandbox because people abuse these URLs - I made a switch to a domain with no hyphens and cracked the top 10 right away. Just my experience.

One of my clients e-commerce sites utilises a mod which causes 2 hyphens, as yet it has not caused any issues regarding SE positioning.
