I have a client whose bandwidth has skyrocketed. He changed a video on his site and announced the new video to his subscribers. This accounts for the increase in viewers, but the server seems to be getting hit two and three times by the same IP address. Quite often the first hit is with a Mozilla based browser and then the second hit is a few seconds later with NSPlayer. It's possible that it has always worked that way and I am only noticing now because of the high usage, but this effectively doubles the load on the server unnecessarily. Is this some setting in Windows Media Player? Is there something I can do server-side to help? Jennifer
