    ok, so my site

    I have a 301 re-direct from http://mysite.com to http://www.mysite.com

and i have sub domain, a bit like the way these forums sub-domains are set up

so like http://subdomain.mysite.com - but its also accessible via http://www.subdomain.mysite.com - so im going to do a 301 redirect from:

    http://www.subdomain.mysite.com TO>>> http://subdomain.mysite.com

I think thats correct - just need some other heads in on the discussion please...

and if that is right..why dont these forums do it? ;)

Personally I like www better:) But that is a matter of preferance.

I thnk most sites don't do it because it shouldn't be nessessary, however last time I checked Google still thinks the same site with and without the www are two different sites.
