DotEasy or A Small Orange? + Domain Locking?

Hello, I'm looking to buy a domain for my website, but I'm not sure which to go with:

    DotEasy or A Small Orange?

For starters, DotEasy has more features but A Small Orange seems to be the most recommended by DP users.

Also, is the Domain Locking option offered by DotEasy really necessary/worth it?

    Thanks in advance.

why doteasy or asmallorange? why not namecheap or godaddy?

yes, you should lock your domains from preventing other people from transferring it away without your permission. simple as that...

I would second the recommendation for godaddy, by far the easiest and most reliable.

alright then. GoDaddy it is. Is there any problems with them that I should know about? (ie: scams, etc.)?

Godaddy likes to take away bittorent names. I prefer enom, and can help set up a resellers account for you.

if your really cheap, use domainsite.
