DotComBuilder scripts?

Anyone have any experience with DotComBuilder scripts?
are they authorized resellers of some scripts i see there
bein sold much cheaper than the developers sell them for,
albeit altered a bit.

any feedback? im basically interested in 1 (phpmydirectory alteration)

Personally, I do not like them ...

You must have a domain setup on a server
They have to install any website template you choose with their
"auto" installer.

This leaves a lot to be desired. You do have the files on your server, but you have no installation instructions. This means (to me) if you edit the site, then sell it and have to move it to the customer's server there may be diffculties. I would probably have to hire someone to move it for me.

Also, I am no PHP wizard, so editing the sites is really difficult for me. Whereas, other php sites are a breeze. I think it's the way they have it coded -- if your content is too much the whole page looks hinky, etc.

As you may tell, I am not happy with the money I spent to join their program.

Stay away from DOTCOMBUILDER I bought their 3 month service and most of their scripts did not work or were not up to date, their support is bad also.
