    The new .Asia Domain is a new TLD (top-level domain) that is non-country specific. It's not restricted and is available to anyone. It's a truly significant domain name for the future and is your key to doing business or having a presence in Asia.

    .asia domain names are going to be available around Feb/March 2008.

    Do you think this extension will have a good value for those countries within Asia ?

    I think .asia will be worthless. IDNs will pave the way for the Asian market.

    If you ask me, its sure to be a great hit. I am so much obsessed with the idea of registering domains .asia. It has made me register a .com blog www.securedotasia.com
